Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We have been operating for close to forty years

Q: Are you franchised?
A: No. All our business is handled from Bolton, MA

Q: How many houses have you done ?
A: About 450 in all in 31 states.

Q: How do you ship your product?
A: Almost always by road.

Q: What range of house size can we consider?
A: We have done one at 800 sq ft and have gone up to almost 6,000 sq. ft.

Q: Do you have your own building crew which travels to our site?
A: No, we work with a local builder of your choice. If we know of a builder in your area we are happy to bring him/her to your notice.

Q: Can we see a house in our area?
A: There is a list of many of the houses which we have done, but please remember that they are private homes and may not even still be occupied by the original owner. Usually people do not mind if you drive by. In the past, some owners have offered to show their homes .

Q: Can we change or delete any of the items in the package?
A: Yes, you may have a personal preference for a different roofing material or your local code may require specific windows. We will be happy to explain this process to you.

Q: Can you accommodate cutting edge energy conservation and environmentally friendly methods of insulation and heating/cooling?
A: Yes. There is almost always a cost factor involved in using these technological upgrades, but the buy-back in dollars over the years, tax incentives and the help it affords the environment is worth while if you can manage it.

Q: When do we actually go in to the design process?
A: You need to own your building lot and have gone through the pricing kit process. In this way we will design with your particular factors in mind, and you will have a realistic understanding of your local cost for the completed house before we begin.

Q: Has anyone ever built more than one house?
A: Yes, we had one contractor in Arkansas who did two at the same time, and we have quite a list of people who have moved and done another Bow House. We also have siblings who own them and quite a few builders who built a Bow House for themselves.

Q: If we decide to build a Bow House, do we have to pay to have the design done as well as pay for the package?
A: No the design cost is built in to the cost of the Bow House Package. If you want us to do a different house for you, such as a saltbox the design system and the package are slightly different, so please call us .
